Rayon is an artificial fiber also described as a semisynthetic; it is produced from regenerated cellulose, usually obtained from wood but, depending on processing technique, also from cotton linters. Rayon is also known by the name viscose in the United Kingdom. Rayon is absorbent and has soft and smooth touch. It is a perfect alternative to silk and linings, especially for tailoring and outerwear. Rayon fibers are naturally bright but can be given a matte finish. Rayon loses up to half its strength when wet; therefore, it is best dry-cleaned.

Cambric

possibly the most famous of all the workwear fabrics and also intensively used in the fashion industry to make jeans, shorts, shirts, skirts, and other fashion apparel.

twisted single yarn in a loose plain weave. It is mainly made with Silk, cotton, nylon, polyester, or rayon yarn. Chiffon fabric is delicate, so it is not typically used in daily apparel. Instead, it is used to make nightgowns, evening wear, or blouses meant for special occasions.
